After our first batch of this cunning device, which is designed to not only optimise your generated PV power, but provide you with daily hot water, we have now streamlined production and optimised the design with is now keeping your cost lower.
The Immersion Heater Relay is a cool unit we have developed, enabling you to actaully use the power your PV or Wind system is generating.

As a renewable system generator, you'll be aware that besides the main FiT rate you'll be earning for everything you generate, whether you use it or not, plus the only other earning you'll get is 3.1p a unit for everything you export. The vast majority of you will be on a 50% estimated export by your power company.
Ticking all these boxes, you'll soon realise that if you can use the majority of your generated power, that will give you even more of a financial advantage. Besides this, you'll be generating hot water, which being an everyday requirement in most households and businesses, will save a huge amount on gas or oil usage.. Its the clever solution.
Requirements
To ensure this will work correctly, you will need to have the following installed at your premises:
A standard hot water cylinder with immersion heater fitted. A solar PV or wind turbine system, ideally rated at 2kwp or more. Check that both your solar/wind system and immersion heater is connected to the same consumer unit, as this will make the installation process immensly easier.
Most immersion heaters are rated at 3kW, to make best use of the Immersion Relay, a power reduction transformer will be neededfor 3kW immersions. We can provide either a power reduction transformer to run your 3kW immersion at 1kW, or we have a stock of 2 1/4" BSP 1kW immersion heaters. Prices below.
