Wind Turbines Stocked
SMALL.> For a small building or vehicle mounted applications, we provide the Rutland range of wind turbines.. These units have been around for years and are well respected for small 'Off Grid' applications charging batteries in boats, remote outbuildings and caravans.
Together with the Rutland 913 or the Rutland 504, we also supply matched charge controllers, essential for looking after your batteries to prevent overcharging thus shorter lifespan. These controllers can also have another input for a solar panel, making it the ideal solution for all weather conditions.
Rutland 913
300 Watts in a 24 or 12v version
Rutland 504
60 Watts in a 12 volt version only
A little larger...
Going up the turbine sizing scale, we also stock the Futurenergy 1Kw. This is a very reasonably priced model with much more power than the Rutland turbines, but is designed for heavy duty mounting..
The FuturEnergy turbine has a 1.8 metre blade diameter and can be supplied in 3 voltage versions, 12 & 24 for battery charging, plus a 48v version for connecting to a grid tie inverter. Due to the mechanical stresses involved, this turbine cannot be building mounted, (unless on a steel frame structure).
